Description
WebSphere Commerce Suite (WCS) provides a complete solution for a company's electronic commerce needs. It has evolved to meet the needs of a rapidly changing market and incorporates many of the concepts which are now integral to doing business over the Internet. This two day course shows attendees how to install the various components of WCS, how to set up a store, and how to configure and administer it.
Objectives
This is a highly hands-on course. About 70% of the time will be devoted to lab work. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
  • Install the product on Windows 2000 Server
  • Set up a store
  • Configure various assets of a store
  • Monitor and anaylse site using WebSphere Site Analyzer
  • Hook up LDAP server to work with WCS
  • Hook up backend messaging system (MQSeries) with WCS
