Registration FAQ
1. What do your courses cover?
We create our courses for specific audiences - including
application developers, system designers, software
architects and technical managers - and tailor the
course to meet the student's profile. Our courses incorporate
the latest technologies and techniques to help keep
our client's skills current and relevant. All courses
consist of hands-on lab exercises and case studies
where students can gain first-hand experience with
the tools and technology.
Our topics vary from Object Oriented Methodologies
to Java, J2EE, EJB, Web Services and XML.
2. How much do the courses cost?
Costs vary by course. Please check
out our public
schedule for pricing.
3. What is payment policy?
Payments must be received at least seven (7) business days before the start
of class. Until a form of payment is received, the student's seat in the
class is not guaranteed.
Registration can be confirmed by payment with a major
Credit Card (Visa, MC, AMEX). We do accept other forms
of payment but these require prior approval from the
Public Schedule Manager (PSM). After registration,
you will receive an acknowledgement from the PSM. Please
contact the PSM within 24 hours for payment.
For courses that begin in less than
10 business days, only credit card payment is accepted.
We usually close enrollment 5 business days before the
first day of class.
4. What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations received at least 10 business days prior to the event receive
a full refund. We will not refund any cancellation or reschedule request
that we receive in less than 5 business days before the start date. If you
are unable to attend the class for which you have registered, it is your
responsibility to inform us within the cancellation period. We will give
you a refund or reschedule you to the next available class you desire. Sorry,
we do not refund tuition for "no-shows."
5. What is the cancellation liability?
Liability is limited to the return of payment only. InferData reserves the
right to cancel or reschedule events for any reason. We do not reimburse
travel or hotel cancellation fees or penalties.
Does the course price include all expenses such as
travel, food and boarding expense?
No, it is the student's responsibility to take care of boarding, meals and
other travel expenses. We do offer a continental breakfast and complimentary
refreshments during class.
6. Do you have discounts for large groups?
If your group is large enough, consider setting up on-site
training. In some cases, we are able to combine small
developer groups from the same city or region into an
on-site training. Also, we offer favorable rates when
your company wants to send multiple developers to public
course trainings. We offer a 10% discount when we receive
registration for three or more students for the same
course, same date, from a single company.
7. Do I get any discount for taking multiple
classes?
InferData offers its "Know more. Pay less"
promotion for students who take multiple classes. You
will earn " InferDollars" which can be used towards
your next class. Contact us to get details about these
promotions.
8. What about special offers and promotions?
InferData special offers and promotions
cannot be combined with existing InferData Corporate
or Partner discounts.
9. Who teaches the courses?
Our instructors are seasoned industry veterans and gifted teachers with certified
subject matter expertise. All of our instructors hold advanced technical
degrees a nd are senior level developers and architects with real world experience
in building enterprise systems.
10. How long are the classes?
The class length varies by topic. Typical course length
ranges from 3 to 5 days. All classes do run 8 hours
a day from 9am to 5pm.
11. Do you allow student substitutions?
InferData accepts student substitutions with
at least three business days notice before the class
starts. All substitutes must meet the course prerequisites.
You will need to contact us with the substitution information
- your confirmation number, course name/date/location,
and the student substitute.
12. What about the handouts and course notes?
Can I keep them?
Course materials are handed out during the first day of class. These materials
are yours to keep and use as a reference.
13. What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable and most receptive to learning the materials
presented. Our dress code is casual.
14. What are the directions to the training
facility?
InferData Corporation is located at the intersection of Research
Blvd. and Balcones Woods Drive (adjoining the Ironstone Bank complex) in Austin , Texas . For detailed directions and a

15.
Where do I stay? What good accommodations are near the
facility?
Students are responsible for their own accommodations.
InferData does not endorse any specific facility; however,
we'd be glad to help you with a list
of accommodations located near the facility and
ones that our students often use.
